1/16/2018 Maintenance Complete: Faction Rallies is now LIVE.
Hey all,
Hotfix 1.1.1.3 is now available, removing Curse of Osiris requirements for Faction Rallies and Iron Banner rewards.

When the solution to an exploit is to essentially punish normal play - you really need to rethink the solution. Really, just get rid of the lost sectors being part of the faction rallies. You've made them frustrating and annoying - and I don't play video games to be frustrated and annoyed.

Stop putting all these restrictions on this game!!! You want us to grind yet you restrict us to do so. I have never known any other game that has so many penalties for their gamers. Only Bungie that I know of. Come on, I didn't pay $150 for this garbage.

If you added fun and interesting ways for people to obtain gear other than faction slot machines, then you wouldn't have to worry about players exploiting for tokens. Already at the beginning of this rally ive gotten two consecutive duplicate faction rewards (new monarchy sword) That kind of crap makes people want to exploit the faction rally... You continuously bandaid the symptoms but don't address the core underlying problem: farming factions for random drops that consistently produce duplicates IS NOT FUN hence people find ways to make it fun (exploit farming tokens). The fact that this happens also frustrates people to no end as it DOES NOT RESPECT THE PLAYERS TIME. When players are frustrated and their time is disrespected, they come on here and find things to complain about. It's sad because underneath this you have an otherwise decent game that players can't appreciate because they're blinded by the frustrations caused by your unsatisfying and underrewarding systems. You're really doing yourself a disservice by not fixing the underlying problems people continuously complain about because these frustrations keep people from being able to relax and enjoy a potentially great game.

1 ReplyWow. I was actually torn about signing on this game at all this week, but I knew I wanted those New Monarchy shaders and Hunter armor ornaments. I completed 2 Lost Sectors (because this was a part of the Milestone for today). By the time I got to the third: nothing. I thought it was a glitch, so I did a forth: nothing. Then I thought since I was in the beginning of EDZ (where Devrim is), maybe I have to travel... but nope. This was all the buzzkill I needed to turn Destiny 2 off and go play something else. Sad thing is, I bought the Ghaul figurine from the Bungie Store last week mainly so I could get the Heretic emblem and show it off to my friends... but barely anyone in my clan of 83 people is even on. I hate to be another toxic post on the Bungie community forum but SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE! You’re taking away everythingggggggggg. There’s nothing to -blam!-ing do - how do you devs not see this?! You say you also play the game yourself - so what exactly do you do? Complete the same raid for the 128th time?! This is like beating a dead horse

Players, how much abuse do you guys need to take as proof Bungie doesn't care anymore? This is just another ridiculous misstep from a company that just "listens" without doing.

1 ReplyEdited by mja calg: 1/17/2018 2:35:36 AMThis "throttle" limit bit us in the butt today, and not just Faction Tokens. Went over to EDZ Winding Cove to see if they patched that Lost Sector. They did, but you can open the chest twice (open it, then exit the "zone" and re-enter the "zone" and open it a second time) and getting 3 tokens, glimmer and XP twice. Then we went and did an adjacent Lost Sector and got nothing (not even Glimmer) when we opened the chest. We also did not get credit for the 3 Supplies we destroyed either. A note on Supplies Destruction MileStone for Faction Rewards. It's BS that the person that destroys them gets credit, not the people in your Fire Team. So if you and a friend are doing Lost Sectors together, your friend shoots all the Supplies, you get NOTHING for your MileStone. This is not how one build up FireTeam play, Bungie.

Hey what about only getting faction items from the OLD loot pool? Its been 2 months since we've had a faction rally. Why is there no loot?
