Thrall, Vex, taken, Cabal, bosses, etc. are all old news and boring. We have been seeing them from D1 onward. The only difference is new planets and maps. New enemies with new planets would be a nice change.

Tide & rise, falling leafs, dying trees, growing trees, summer, winter, autumn, spring, day, night, random enemy spawns. Every time you play a nightfall or raid have enemies spawn elsewhere, in different numbers and behave differently. Let the world around you look slightly different. Mechanics change, playstyle has to be adapted, communication has to be next level. How cool would it be to start up the raid after the 30th time and still don't know what to expect? Season based loot. Summer based emotes, sparrows, shaders, exotic gear and weapons. Can only be obtained by completing quests in summer. Same for autumn, winter and spring. (and can only be obtained by grinding. Not in Eververse) And there is so much more they can do to make this game great(er)
