I had a horrible trials weekend and still managed 3 flawless runs. It’s not that difficult. Even the less skilled team can win games against better players on paper with some simple teamshooting and coordination.

I would love your secret. I’ve run with multiple teams that have positive kd’s and have yet to get more than 3 wins. The secret is in how and who the game matches you up against. If I suck at pvp then it is only fair I play against other sucky players and vise versa. Bungie has complete forgotten this concept in Trials.
-
I’ve had 3 weekends where I’ve struggled to beat the good teams, both times we’ve had this weeks map and I can’t remember the name of the other. I’ve spend a lot of time this weekend playing with guys with 1 kd or even lower. The problem is their scared to make a play and sit back a lot which gives the other team map control, I’ve seen it with a few different teams. Gun skill wasn’t their problem.

If you suck at PvP but a team mate doesn't, the game shouldn't cater towards you in anyway! If it did the enemy team would just feel the same way you do now but towards the guy who is good at PvP on your team.
-
If it is a milestone and there is gear behind it. Regardless of PvP skill, you should be able to obtain that goal. Bungie has to make that happen. My personal PvP ability is not the question. The better question to ask is how can anybody guarantee a flawless run? They cannot unless there is something they know and are doing that the other team can’t. Either Bungie takes the milestone away or they stop the paid players from being in the game. There are tournaments where top players can compare dick size
-
Clearly you don't understand the concept of PvP, you play to win or play to have fun. Just because you lose and are not the greatest doesn't mean it's Bungie's fault. Trials isn't and never was designed for players like you who want everything handed to them on a plate, just learn the maps, predict players actions and just simply get good. Trials isn't even difficult at all to be honest, you just need to know what to do before you can do it.
-
Some more of the same old same. Players who need to somehow feel accomplished by assuming the person they are talking to sucks. I hold my own and am usually the top shooter on my team. As a clan leader I am frustrated by the fact that the milestone is hidden behind a 7 win ticket. If it is all about sweats, then why the milestone? Trials is the only mode in the game where it is this way. Why have bronze silver and gold level players? Why I we have light level requirements to play trials yet light does not matter? These are gameplay issues not personal skill issues

Edited by Aspect: 1/16/2018 8:44:55 PMI can happily say that you are lying, anyone can see your stats. Having a K.D Below 0.4 isn't really classed as holding your own... you can barely kill anything to begin with. I can 100% understand why you're complaining but you shouldn't blame others when you're the problem as well.
-
I’m lying huh. My stats reflect exactly what I am saying. If I am a bronze level player then why am I going up against diamond flawless teams every game? I look forward to rumble and the time of one on one comes. Then look me up and tell me I’m lying. I grind hours to get my wins. I’m not here claiming I am a god at PvP. I am claiming I paid the same price for the game you did, and therefore have the rite to obtain my milestones. You my friend can talk all the trash on my game play you want. Does not change the facts. Bungie needs to fix this broken ass game mode. Ps while your at it pull all PvP stats on me. I do believe there are more than a couple gold tier stats under my belt

Edited by OpticsGG: 2/26/2018 9:47:12 PMSorry brother but Trials is the end game content for people who belong there. It's not something they give out just like how the prestige raid armor was (it was hard to get and only the hardcore got it). Sorry but this is the way it should be. I for one do not mind that they have at least one thing in the game that isn't catered to casuals that isn't easily obtainable (not like they havent handed you everything in this game already). And yes your KD is your issue. Play more PVP in Crucible before trying to step foot in Trials where there are many coordinated teams and really good players. I am sorry that you feel the way you do but its not going to change. Only thing that can change is if you practice and get better or find new friends who are better lol.

I imagine you'll be picky here, so here's a comparison to my stats. Big difference, stop complaining and just get better.
https://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/xbl/We-Love-Aspect
Someday people like you will understand what is being stated. So let me dumb it down for you. High school players play against other high school players, not NFL or NBA players. Thus the division and ranking system. It isn’t working when a team of all bronze faces diamond teams. You don’t get better by not being in a game at all. I am not complaining I am trying to point that flaw in the game out. But go ahead and reply how good you are and how bad I am, as if that is the answer to why bungie annoy get trials to match correctly in D2 as it did in D1
-
Edited by Lemmepopasynth: 1/16/2018 10:17:02 PMWe all get the same opportunity to go flawless. The rest is up to you to make it happen. My advice would be to squad up with 3 other people who are gonna become your full-time teammates for Trials. Go in competitive, keep on practicing with your team and then, at one point you might get there. Good luck.
-
You're quite dumb, if you're a bronze rank but have a diamond ranked player on your team... do you want to come against bronze or diamond players? If you go against diamond you feel how you do now correct? However if you go against bronze players they will feel the exact same way as you do because they'll be against a diamond player while they're only bronze. Stop acting stupid, the game is fine. The matchmaking is fine because it isn't win based anymore, if it was you would NEVER get the flawless anyway because you'd be against people who are about to go Flawless as well, which would be good players.
-
You have gold in both survival and Countdown, low silver and very low bronzes in the other game modes however... that's pretty weak. Also you grind for hours in PvP for wins and yet you only have 29 in the competitive side of things (aka, the ones you have gold in)?!? Woah... you're really going places here. Quick play is no better, still having a negative win loss and k.d doesn't support what you're trying to get across here. Here's the stats you asked for, if you think I'm lying - https://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/psn/SYLENTHUNTR

I didn't said that it is completely impossible, but it is a big torture to get there. The most people don't want to play longer Destiny after at least 5 matches trials because they are so upset about the inconsistent game experience. -
Persistence will pay off with trials. Eventually you’ll either get an easier card or get a bit lucky. It took me probably over 1000 games to get my first flawless in year 2. You can imagine how many times i lost on the final game. I’d not even played much pvp before starting trials. It was a lot harder to go flawless back then than it is now, I didn’t quit, I didn’t moan I just got on with it and eventually I got my first which lead to over 140 flawless runs as I got better.

I don't aim on flawless. I just want a fair game experience at all.
