there is regular depression too. exercise is great for depression. i always get my exercise in because it improves my mood. studies have shown exercise is better for depression then pills. I do not take any pills. even taking long walks for an hour can improve your mood.

  • ya alcohol will take benefits of excercise away especailly weight loss but its better then not excercising at all. i want to eventually limit my alcohol to only 2 nights a week.

this is how i exercise with walking but in the winter time walking sucks more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxBLV3YDjak just swinging a kettlebell can improve your mood. its technical and there is a learning curve but i find its my favorate excercise went from jogging to this and my joints feel great. jogging is terrible as a excercise other then the meditative benefits. what kind of exercise do you like?

if i run i sprint. long jogs are terrible on the joints and when you get older you feel it . though there is a great meditative aspect to running. but ya do what ever you like. I do not have ymca membership or anything but I love swimming and would do it everyday. swimming is almost number one for me.

  • I was really into mountain biking but I can’t afford a good bike.. seriously they run like 2k - 10k for a good one... I tried a cheap one and it fell apart pretty quick even when I tried taking care of it... And thanks for the info... I try not to over do it

  • Lols.. not for everyone I guess... I was into free ride mountain biking (is what I think it’s called) where you jump dirt ramps and stuff(another reason my cheap bike didn’t make it ) :( lol
