Good read.
When Aztecross said he would be making a long video discussing all the problems of Destiny and strategies to fix it, I expected a well thought out and well constructed video. When I watched this, all I saw was a Christmas wish list of untested ideas so that he can go back to Destiny 1.
I don’t want to go back to Destiny 1. I played that game for thousands of hours and enjoyed it, but the game was so fundamentally broken. There were so many moments of great imbalance and frustration. The PvP by year 3 was a chaotic mess and the PvE was mindless and linear (shoot a boss with hundreds of sniper rounds and repeat.) Why would I trade the broken game of Destiny 2 for a slightly “less” broken game of Destiny 1?
I would rather Bungie builds off the positive changes that they made for Destiny 2 and grow from there. Doing a 180 is not the solution.
