I've tried to think up some crazy leftist excuse for why ben sharpio is unreasonable in this video about #MeToo but I can't. This should be something we can agree on in society

Edited by Nix: 1/10/2018 5:28:26 AMExcept #MeToo is about bringing attention to the very real problem of sexual assault/harassment, demanding they name whoever did it is so ridiculously detached from the actual problem I'm actually questioning Ben's perception of reality period. As someone who has experienced sexual assault, I can tell you right now simply telling someone, anyone, is half the battle of dealing with it within yourself. I fully support any movement that makes such a challenging thing easier, when people say they are heroes, everyone gets so riled up, but what is meant is that admitting to something like that is so hard, you could never imagine, with your own mind telling you it was your own fault, and society having a weird acceptance of it, proven by the backlash of the movement, not only that, but some coming forward, especially celebrities, can inspire people who feel alone and lost to step forward themselves.
