The Problem isn't Eververse, it's the Expansions.

You guys complain all you want about that little shop down by the postmaster, while the real issue of Destiny 2 is a few things: -Unbalanced Gameplay -Expansions Cost Extra Money which effects your game entirely everytime they release a new one. So first off, I think we all get that there is unbalanced gameplay, and they actually work on that. They nerfed Prometheus Lens so that you don't have to be playing Call of Duty while the enemy team thinks it is laser tag. NOW, Expansions. They are the one true problem with D2. Eververse uses microtransactions, and I'm not protecting it or anything, I'm only saying that it shouldn't matter. You don't have to buy from Eververse. It doesn't make you weaker occasionally, it only changes your accessories and looks, and there is also in-game currency that you can get in-game. Expansions, however, will occasionally weaken you. They add new weapons that are sometimes stronger than the old ones, and light/power level max is increased every time. Areas are added, which are inaccessible if you don't have the expansion. Expansions legitimately make the game worth more than a console itself depending on if you buy them or not.

 • The expansions would not be a problem if it weren’t for the fact that they have become so bland. Take for instance D2, DLC 1. There’s a reason why folks have taken to coining it the name: Curse of Dawning.
