Always loved the incorporation of depth in early eastern artwork. The slight fade, the transition from horizontal to vertical lines, the use of negative space, the texturing...It feels very natural.
It’s a very timeless way of depicting scenery, and that ties into the meaning of the painting on a slightly more abstract level, as this type of eastern artwork often attempts to introduce a time element through this incorporation of depth.
Fading Paradise..
With the pressures and distractions of today’s world... we forget that we live on a beautiful little planet.. we forget to look around us past all the man made structures and appreciate the views that Mother Nature gave us... (the color and tone of the painting represents the fade)
