Hand it over to Digital Extremes and make Destiny great. They are one of the smallest developers who never seem to have a problem producing plenty of content. Plus it’s free with a pay model that doesn’t make you feel forced to pay

What games did they make?
What games did they make?
Warframe, Bioshock 2, and Unreal Tournament are among their highlights.
-
No, they are pretty much always working on Warframe making primes, events, quests new weapons and warframes. They also said in a dev stream that they will eventually have more open maps like PoE.

Warframe is the their biggest priority, and as absolutely amazing handing them the Destiny franchise would be, I'd rather have them handle just Warframe at the off chance they bite off more than they could chew. Still though, IMAGINE!

Edited by Odin: 1/6/2018 5:42:57 PMIf DE had the funds and manpower as Bungie does. Warframe would have twice as much content then it does now and knowing they actually communicate with their player base. The player base would be twice the size...

Edited by MONKEYGOTRABIES: 1/6/2018 4:31:37 PMKeep the artists, lore writers, and weapons designers from Destiny. Id Software for shooting and movement mechanics, Bethesda for open world building, Naughty Dog for story and lore implementation, and the guys that put procedural, intelligent, enemy population in Left4Dead. If we're going to imagine, why not imagine bigger?

Id say the ones who handle the shooting and gunplay mechanics should stay. Destiny's gunplay is its best and biggest positive factor. It's my favourite shooter in terms of pure gunplay.

I'd say you're wrong. Doom is the smoothest shooter I've ever played, and it nails all of the little things. Your gun doesn't pick its own targets or go anywhere but where you point it (They scale hit boxes to give a sense of greater accuracy, rather than use sticky aim like an N64 or PS2 game), mantling is fast and fluid, you don't get hung up on six inch rocks, and you don't do stupid things like bounce backwards when you double jump while pushing against an angled rock. There are plenty of little "quirks" that cause my to blame Destiny for screw ups. In, Doom, I never found anyone to blame but myself. I've played video games since Pong and I've never seen the mechanics of moving, aiming, and shooting handled so deftly. If you've played Doom 2016 and disagree, you're certainly entitled to your own opinion. If you haven't, you don't know what you're missing.

Never played doom, though I've heard fantastic things about it.

I cannot recommend it more highly. When you play it you'll see what I mean. You're as quick and gracefull as Bruce Lee's bastard child with an Olympic gold medal ice skater, as powerful as a Russian cyborg with unlimited firepower, as dangerous as a grizzly with chainsaw arms and a nasty meth habbit, and as hateful as an abused circus chimpanzee. Rip and tear, my friend, rip...and...tear. Getting ready for Easter Sunday...gonna whoop the Devil...
