While I agree with what you said, the decisions Bungie has made baffle me. They are more then capable of producing a quality product, but they appear to be a very poorly run studio. This whole thing reminds me of Halo 2... except it all came together in the end (especially the multiplayer). I get what you’re saying across the forums. I agree... but I also understand why people are angry and I agree with how they feel (granted, flooding the forums with the same topic suppresses any real feedback). My opinion is that the game is very... okay. I enjoy it, but for reference, I went back and played a little D1. I suddenly felt noticeably more powerful, and it took me a fair amount of time to adjust back to it. I kept trying to switch to my sniper as if it where in the heavy slot. Having one burn was quite the double edged sword (and much more fun and engaging than the prism modifier). And that’s just to name a few points of my experience. Like the parent standing in front of the child that just made a large mistake for the second time, I’m not angry... just disappointed in Bungie. I want the game to succeed not just on a monetary level! I want to visit my local video game retailer and hear people bantering back and forth about how Bungie rocks. I want these things for Bungie and myself, but it just isn’t playing out.

  • I'm not blind to the game's problems. I'm also disappointed that the game has taken a giant step backwards in terms of its quality as an RPG. I'm frustrated to no-end that Jon Weisznewski keeps getting promoted, and yet seems to be waging open WAR on the game's PVE experience in his reckless desire to make the next e-sport. My point is that being frustrated, mad, or disappointed doesn't **justify** how many people are choosing to behave. ...and this constant "Us versus Them" victim-narrative that some of these kids seem deeply identified with gets ***really** tiresome. I've taken to watching Say No To Rage's stream because he really does a good job of analyzing the game in a balanced-and-fair way.....and coming up with reasonable solutions ot the game's problems. But the level of abuse he takes from trolls and idiots because he won't sign on to the Bungie hate-train...and the "Bungie is trying to screw us over" victim-narrative just gets ridiculous at times.
