• It was a comment jokingly summarizing Bungies actual statement.

 •
But they started eververse over it.
Where are you getting this from? Is it backed up by anything from Bungie ... and not some speculation from this Kotaku guy?

 • man I know many companies wish they had fans that would defend them regardless of the BS they do.

 • What this is in reference to, and I'm not exact quoting here, is that Bungie had to renegotiate the contract with Activision because they can't create content to be released on the schedule that was originally agreed upon. This being in part due to a notoriously bad game engine/tool set that take ~8 hours just to load a map for editing. The renegotiation included adding Eververse to bring in revenue to fund a content drip comprised of much smaller, but more frequent "activities" such as the Dawning, Iron Banner, and Faction Rallies vs larger DLC.

 • And yet you still defending Bunghole by denying that all they do is not only just reclying Content but also cuting existent Content away? From Weapons over Enemys and even Locations?

 • You should know by now not to waste your time arguing with a member of the BDF. Many people know HOW to read, but quite a few of those people don't know how to COMPREHEND what they read.

 •
You should know by now not to waste your time arguing with a member of the BDF. Which shows a lack of comprehension. You are just seeing what you want to see that backs up what you feel.

 • What have you seen in Bungie's behavior these past 3+ years, but more importantly these past 4 months that make you believe the article isn't spot on?

 •
Eververse has been a foundation since ttk like Jason said.
So what? That has nothing to do with that not being a quote from Bungie. I suspect confirmation bias is at large here.
