Edit> Its old news and he was taken out of context
English
-
That's what he says, but I listened to the podcast and read the reddit thread. I don't see where he was taken out of context.
-
It's a fix I tell you! Bingo is holding his budgie hostage. Bastards
-
Let’s not do that.
-
I feel the sarcasm, but I'm not quite sure where you're going with it. I merely said that he wasn't taken out of context. I didn't prescribe an ulterior motive to his statement. He WASN'T taken out of context based on the interview that the quotes are from. Now, maybe he didn't express himself like he wanted to, or maybe he misspoke, but it wasn't taken "out of context".
-
Well he says he was, unsurprisingly those that are unhappy with the game tell me he is either lying or just plain wrong. I'm now expected to accept that he of course got it wrong or is lying despite him saying it not once but twice and in quite strong terms. Even if I accept that his comments come from 2016 and are mainly to do with D1. Whole battalions of vitriolic utube vids and posts have sprung up from these comments from a year or more ago that the author has distanced himself from and there isn't a single post (except mine) or vid to say oops thats not quite right. Sarcasm is all I have left. Good day
-
Well, you see the problem is, words have meaning. He wasn't "taken out of context". He can say it until he's blue in the face. That doesn't make it so. I can say that 2+2=5, but again, that doesn't make it true. Again, like I said above, maybe he didn't express himself like he wanted to, or maybe he misspoke, but it wasn't taken "out of context". Good day to you as well.
-
Funny how a guy who does professional reporting "gets taken out of context" So he isn't that good at his job then if he can't deliver something without it being open to interpretation. So you're essentially defending a guy who can't do his job.
-
When you say he cant do his job it appears to be subjective. If he is reporting bad things about bungie then he's a stand up guy, well respected in the industry blah blah When he is denying he sad bad things about bungie he's suddenly a lying useless git who cant do his job. You could see why a man might get confused about Mr Jason Schreier
-
No he wasn't. He says he was but since everybody can access the source (which is Jason Schreier himself saying exactly what was said in the original Reddit thread) we can see that his claim he was taken out of context (without any further explanation other than saying he was talking about Eververse in D1....which the original OP specifically stated) is complete bs.
-
His reddit posts are 16 and 22 hours ago, they aint from 2016. He is saying that now, today. Out of context and and old news. He says on his twitter, old news.
-
I read his Reddit reply. His claim is unmotivated....and not backed by the source material.
-
Right, bungie paid him or hacked his account. Jeez Good day sir
-
Nobody said that. What I am saying is that he clearly doesn't know what "out of context" means. And neither do you.
-
Right, what you want me to do about that, contact him and tell him. His words are "out of context" What your suggesting that a journalist doesn't understand out of context is very odd. Ok man, whatever Good day
-
I'm looking at the result, Destiny 2, and it sure looks to me like this video is spot on. The game does look rushed and incomplete.
-
I would some what agree but the original author says its old news (2016) and taken out of context.
-
That may well be the case, but you gotta admit....it sure would explain a lot. It's like someone giving me a square peg that fits perfectly in the square hole, then telling me that it's a fake peg. It still fits though.
-
Read the title of OP. Good day
-
The old author is full of shit with his unexplained and unmotivated claim.
-
He just added it 16 and 23 hours ago, this is old news and out of context. His statement.
-
Okay fist im gonna help you. And second im gonna rail you. Okay here we go. You wanna make your point but you dont have the proper evidence. You need to do more research into what your trying to proof. Here is a tweet directly from the person who created it https://twitter.com/jasonschreier/status/948703107030179840?ref_src=twcamp%5Eshare%7Ctwsrc%5Eios%7Ctwgr%5Ecom.apple.UIKit.activity.Message You should link this instead as linking the actual Reddit podcast post from 2 years ago is dumb as the argument is that they were creating this game before two years ago and they restarted development effectively ruining the game. This will help you get your point across clearly and make less hassle for proofing people wrong. Now the asshole who made this should not have written this post like an asshole because he effectively -blam!-ed his whole argument as even the OG poster pointed that out. But it does not devalue the point that they did reboot the game and most likely not the will of the people creating it. This is exactly what caused the downfall of destiny 1 when it was being created as it caused almost all the lead employees to leave and work somewhere else and from what we are seeing doing this a second time is not working in their favor as it has caused more controversy then gay marriage. The big picture here is that whoever is making these decisions is at fault and im not ruling out a lead at bungie or Activision themselves.
-
The twitter say old news . "IDK why this is going viral today when I reported it in 2016, but the takeaway at the bottom of this Reddit post is nonsense. As if it was by choice, as if the developers WANT wasted work and compressed schedules " Its being reported as new news. It aint The quotes I mentioned are 16 and 23 hours ago.
-
I know the quotes. The fact is his claim that it is taken out of context is bullshit. Old news does not mean it is taken out of context and the original Reddit post he replied to specifically allocated the time frame to D1 and the creation of Eververse.
-
Right. Nothing further to discuss man. Good day
-
You clearly need to look up what "out of context" means.
