Like most of you, I've been a fan, gamer of Destiny from the beginning. And after weeks of observations, and the whole boycott of Destiny/Eververse going on at the moment, my conclusion is this: Eververse IS NOT THE REAL ISSUE HERE. When you purchase silver, what is that currency used on? Illuminated Engrams? Dawning Engrams (depending on the event? You earn Illuminated Engrams every time you level up. And Dawning Engrams CAN be earned in crucible/strikes, I've gotten a few already; as well as can be earned doing daily quests through Ikora. With that being said, everything that is supposedly "locked" behind a "pay-wall" IS able to be aquired without spending any extra money what-so-ever... Now that that's out of the way, let's get to THE REAL ISSUE: Customization. Bungie, you did absolutely NOTHING different. We have the same 3 races, not that big a deal, with the SAME *insert curse word here* editing options. No new hairstyles, facial aspects, color schemes, NOTHING... all the same. That is an issue. ALSO with customization, our guardians no longer have voices (simulation conspiracy theory), ALL OF OUR WEAPONS HAVE THE SAME PERKS (you removed the true grinding factor) and you further removed our ability to customize with an in-depth skill tree. That's what RPGs are ALL ABOUT! All in all, to wrap this all up in a nicely, grammatically correct narrative, I leave you with this Bungie... ... ... 1. Give us the customization that WE DESERVE! From character design, to even making our own shaders, to in-depth skill tree sub-classes! Allow us to truly get lost in the lore and to become a part of it. 2. If you intend on keeping Eververse, than you should consider upping the rate/scenarios at which Illuminated Engrams drop (i.e. strikes, crucible, etc); as well as bringing back strike specific loot! 3. Finally, and most importantly, listen to what we are saying. I know a lot of it is misguided through anger and frustration, but what else would you expect when your game isn't reaching its full potential; and the people feel as though they aren't being heard?
