Surprised to say that I honestly found Eminem’s new album Revival pretty good but that’s just my personal opinion. I’m not feeling every song but there are a few really good ones on it though.

Childish Gambino's Awaken My Love is a fantastic album and example that funk is still alive and kicking. You can hear influences ranging from Ween to Curtis Mayfield to Parliament Funkadelic. As a whole this album is a masterpiece.

Propagandhi released their first album in about 5 years. It wasn't an immediate hit with me, but definitely grew on me to become one of my favorites.

The Rural Alberta Advantage put out The Wild and continues their streak of being one of my favorite bands.

LCD Soundsystem returned after a LONG hiatus and hit it out of the park with American Dream.
