"So what should we do about Destiny?"
"Well, we could have it in a magical fantasy world with each mothership title having 30 hours of cinematic storytell-"
"Let me cut you off right there. People don't play single player, linear games anymore. That's a terrible idea."
- - Founder leaves the Company - -
"Any other ideas?"
"Well, we could at least have an expansive musical score that highlights the lore. Something profound that really gets the player think-"
"Nah, that's not going to work anymore. We'll just start over."
- - Directer of Music leaves the Company - -
"Now that we have all the sissies out of the way, what should we REALLY do for Destiny?"
"Uh, how about a space opera where multiplayer crews pay for loot? Light versus Darkness."
"Oh, that gets me hard. What's the Darkness?"
"I figured we'd just make it up as we go."
"You're right. We ought to put all our efforts into that loot buying system. Well, this was productive. Meeting adjourned."

I imagine some PC players on their initial playthrough. Poor Gamer: What's the light, traveler, and speaker? Destiny Vet: I don't know. It was never really revealed in the first game. You can however go on Bungie.... oh wait, Nevermind it's been removed. See there used to be this thing called Grimoire that explained bits and pieces of the story. Poor Gamer: A book? Destiny Vet: Hahahaha! No. Not even close. Maybe if you took a book and ripped random sentences out of it, pasted it on the back of your Hoyle deck, and then scanned them onto a website. Poor Gamer: So how do I figure out what's what? Destiny Vet: You can watch videos from Byf. Poor Gamer: So, they didnt tell you in the first game, then made a second game, adding a new platform, wrote a story, but didnt include elements in that story to explain to the newcomers what they're doing? Wow. I'm really starting to regret my purchase. Destiny Vet: Join the club pal. Join the club.
