I'd like to address something, to all of you reading this. We keep crying out to "bungie" to remove the micro transaction nonsense in the game because we all think that this is the bungie we all know... Way back when in our halo days where we were heard as gamers by our developers. Let's not forget the game that we were promised way back in d1. All those trailers showing a "sandbox" environment rich and lush character stories. Hell, the queens Brother had a significant role in our story... If he even was the queens brother to begin with and not a crestfallen guardian. Something so rich and developed.. Something we would expect from Joseph Staten. Joseph Staten helped forge our love for the halo series with his incredible writing. It's sad to know that the destiny we deserve.... The reason why d2 is a complete flop is because of Activisions move to completely cut the creative driving force that was Joseph Staten and go with a storyline that would... Be more appealing to a casual crowd. That's why you saw some content in d1 vanilla that was inaccessible until the dlc dropped. That's why in pre release trailers you saw THE DREADNOUGHT game play in most trailers. What Activision did and what bungie allowed is what I want to make clear for all of you. Bungie is no longer the bungie we know. Bungie is just a name... It's no longer that gamer friendly company we knew and love and for some of us grew up with. It is now a corporate sell out, a completely money hungry machine. Bungie is not even a shell of its former self, destiny could've been such a great game... It had such promise but I'm sad to say that it's dead. It's time as gamers that we remind the people who create the games we play that the relationship we share with them is one that revolves around respect. This game is a blatant example of disrespect and complete disregard for its player base. This goes for casual and hard core players...because we both got the short end of the stick with this sad excuse for a game. I tried very hard to pull through with this game and franchise.. I would grind out raids with my friends in d1 and in d2 I've made it my goal to grind out trials like a mad man. Sadly this game is such a slap in my face and not worth anyone's time anymore, in my honest opinion. From the constant imbalance in weapons in d2 to ignored bug fixes and now... PAYWALLS? Bungie is no longer with us, it left with Joseph Staten. It's time we packed up and left as well. I say now that January is my last month of destiny and I was there on day one. I'm seriously disappointed with how things happened but I know that there's nobody in bungie currently who cares.. And if they do they can't do a thing about it because bungie sold its soul to Activision when they chose to leave Microsoft.
