How about ghosts with functionality...
Ghost deploys temporary shield on low health
Ghost that send a shock wave of collected incoming fire on low health
Ghost that can charge ur abilities in a pinch with cool down and recharge aspect
Ghost that collects loot and ammo drops
Ghost that can see through walls
Open to suggetions.....
