The Dark Future, What Caused it and What are the Outcomes?

<Welcome to another post where I put up a shite drawing and then explain it with an actual thought that I had. Above is not my drawing, that's right here. https://i.imgur.com/lpRqLo8.jpg Anyway, this post will be covering two theories on how the Dark Future comes around and two on the outcomes. One thing is that the sun simply burns out. I mean... why not? Now for the "Almighty" theory. First thing's first. The Almighty gets destroyed. Assuming you go into the Dark Future everytime and it looks relatively similar, the Almighty is gone. How does it get destroyed? Well the first and easiest one to explain is that it falls into sun. I mean it's right there. The next is that the Vex invade and destroy it, after all it did break Mercury into pieces. I'm pretty sure the Vex are looking for ways to get rid of it. The third is that the {Darkness} destroyed it. I mean, would they have any use for alien tech when they destroyed our civilization so hard that we can't even find a futuristic looking building on Earth? The Almighty's destruction in of itself could've caused the Dark Future. It never finished its job so it's possible that destroying it may not cause the Sun to go supernova, but simply burn out. This would still do major damage to the system as a burnt out Sun would make things very cold and very difficult to live in. Plus, you know, it's not known how far into the future the Dark Future is. Perhaps some time lying dormant could've weakened the link between the Sun and the Almighty if it was strong enough to make it go Supernova. Alright, now that we have that out of the way. What are the outcomes? Many, but I'll only be discussing two. The first is the one we have to stop in Curse of Osiris, the Vex only future. The one where Panoptes used the Infinite Forest so much he figured out a way to eliminate the |Light| and the {Darkness} and damn well everything in one fell swoop. There's not much else to discuss. Whether the {Darkness} destroyed the Almighty or just turned the Sun black, the Vex could've still destroyed them afterward. If the Vex destroyed the Almighty, then they just eliminated most life in the system just like that. Osiris talked about it in Beyond Infinity... so there's not much else to say about the Vex future. The next one is based off of this http://www.ishtar-collective.net/entries/null-calamity-9 I'm under the belief that the "shadow" is the {Darkness}. I know many equations lead to the same solution, but it will take ages for the Vex to find another answer. For now I may as well say that the Dark Future is inevitability, just under the {Darkness}, not the Vex. On a side note, this is what I think the {Darkness} empowered fifth race is like https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/007/415/032/large/mark-kolobaev-bungie-concept-artstation.jpg?1505983337 I mean it's not confirmed but the symbols on the banners match the markings in the cradle on Io and that does look like a pyramid ship in the background. Plus the architecture looks similar. (art by Mark Kolobaev) Anyway. Ignoring my vain attempt at drawing one of the statues from the concept art, on the left I drew Mercury. I then drew a Pyramid Ship on top of it, charging up. If it was that close, then it would make sense that Mercury would have the dust kicked off of it, because gravity. Also it would be close enough to shadow Mercury. I also drew what I think happens to Earth. I think the {Darkness} gets fed up with our shit and just destroys the planet. If the Sun goes dark, life on Earth will be dead real quick anyways. What use would they have for it? I mean the Whirlwind destroyed the Fallen homeworld. Why not the Collapse 2.0? So, thoughts? • Or, there is the third option . (Im sorry if there was a third, I just kinda skimmed through your text.) Osiris said that this was a world without light, but also without darkness. The light and darkness have a final showoff, making the two sides of the dao balancing.(ying and yang)

Good stuff Archival Perfect #savetheloretab I was looking at that art and spotted some hieroglyphic like drawings. I am surprised the cabal didn’t self destruct the almighty or didn’t have some sort of failsafe in event someone does what we did.

      • Didn't we blow up the Almighty? I thought that it was destroyed when we overheated the reactor? Or did we just take out the weapon on board?

        • Those markings on the banner are also the same as the ones on the eternity crucible map. So maybe the Nine are at play here somehow 🤔

          • It think the sun is simply encased in a Dyson Sphere and is powering vex tech

            • I haven't completely read your post yet, but i already found some flaws in your theory. In this "dark future" of the vex, you question, how the vex would've dealt with the almighty but, in the pefect world of the vex, darkness nor light exist. Because those are factors the vex can't calculate in their simulations. Only the world as they (vex) see fit, exists here. Because there has been neither light nor darkness in this situation, the red legion had no reason to come to Sol (our solar system), because there was no traveler to persuit for the red legion in the first place. I could be wrong ofcourse, my lore is a bit rusty.
