What about the Ahamkara?

C'mon, there's a bunch of theories that says that one of them are still alive(could he procriate? multiply his kin?). I love the Destiny World with all of the great guardians that we heard of them in some quests/side-quests, read on a grimoire or even in the new Fall of Osiris comic. I Would like so much to have an Ahamkaras expansion after Destiny's second DLC with possibly Europa and--of couse-- the new race of Ahamkaras. Ahamkaras are such a great race, has a great backstory and would be sooo awesom to fight with them. Small Dragons, Giant Dragons. Would be so outstanding in the gameplay as much it would be in the lore. They have a great potential. What you think, guys? They are probally the most Grimoire-mentioned race that i want in the game(alongside Hive's Worm Gods). Do you like Ahamkaras, what you think about them in the game?

  • <I think they do contribute a lot to the Destiny universe... I just have a deep hatred for them. I've disliked the Worm God = Ahamkara theory for a while now. Now that the giant sea monster on Titan has people saying it could be a fully grown Hive worm... I realize that this is possibly my next piece of evidence to disprove the theory. After all, I don't want some crazy future war cultist to ruin my streak.>

Very possible. The Ahamkara also spawn from the Traveler using its powers. It was in Caydes Journal. When it terraformed Venus small Ahamkara suddenly sprang to life. Factor in the years of the Golden Age and Collapse and Guardians then encounter full grown. Explaining how they went from small to big. The Book of Sorrows has one of the Hive sisters call the Ahamkara, the free ones, “our gods”, implying their Worm Gods are/like Ahamkara. Honestly they are very interesting because they occupy a middle “grey” area in terms of “good and bad” However I will point out that Bungie is editing the lore. A lot. No telling how lore from 1 will translate in the future
