Exploit or cheating?
Was playing mayhem last night and for the most part won some, lost some. But what stood out to me was a match where players seemed to be able to spam nova bomb literally. They would throw one and mid flight they would toss another.
Is there skme kind of abuse or exploit going on or was it hacking? I have a clip but im not to sure how to post it here.
Edit: For anyone telling me "oh its easy to avoid." Not really. Thhe problem with this exploit is it dosent matter if you shoot the nova bomb another will be right behind it. And another and another. This exploit allows players to constantly throw nova bombs without stopping.
So it dosent matter if i can shoot it. Theyll just throw another the second i shoot it.
Not to mention theres a perk on nova bomb that allows it ti break into smaller bombs that track meaning shooting it dosent help you because youll have mini bombs and another massive one chasing you.

4 RepliesThere is an exploit and it must be spreading cause I don't think I was in a match today that didn't have it going on.....No wasn't me though I was running that subclass. It took some effort to change controller layouts and such and I just don't have the interest in it but it does seem to be everyplace in the mayhem now. Doubt if it will change any time soon. Holidays are right on top of us what could be done now.

Cheating would require external tampering with the device or game, which doesn't happen in this case. Still, you should report individuals abusing this exploit. You can do this in-game with the report tools. You can use the Cheating Submission Form in this case as well. Yes it's Bungie's to blame for the glitch,but the players who are exploiting it should ask themselves if they think it is right to do so? If you're using a voidwalker with Nezarec's sin equipped then you can cast 15 or more supers in one game of Mayhem without using the exploit. That's more than enough to kill them back.

5 RepliesOnce again, an Exploit has hit the mainstream thanks to several people coming on here and posting about it. Everyone wants those likes and bumps to feel special and important don't they. Mayhem was the best thing to happen to Destiny 2, and as always Bungie missed something that a day or 2 of playtesting probably would have revealed. And even this wasn't too bad, but now everyone knows about it we've gone from a week of 'Laser Tag' to 3 weeks of 'Purple-ball-pit'. That purple ball in the tower is really getting its revenge.

1 ReplyYes, is a "method" where you can continually consume grenade energy to charge your super, gives unlimited nova bombs. I've seen it a few times, is awfully annoying.
