Three of Coins Functionality
Hey all,
Throughout the weekend, we’ve been monitoring player feedback concerning the recently added Three of Coins consumable offered by Xûr. We’d like to give clarification on the functionality of this item:
[quote][b]When players use a Three of Coins consumable, this provides a 50% increase to the base chance of being rewarded an Exotic Engram upon activity completion. Using this consumable does not guarantee an Exotic reward upon completing a set number of activities – but rather increased chances upon each activity completion.[/b][/quote]
[b]Note:[/b] We have found that Heroic Strikes do not currently grant higher chances for Exotics when using Three of Coins consumables, compared to Vanguard Strikes. We’re looking to address this with a future Hotfix, expected in early 2018.
We will continue to monitor and forward feedback concerning this feature throughout the holiday season. Keep it coming!
Later this week, we’ll have notes from the development team on additional feedback items that we’re looking to address in the future. Stay tuned.

1 ReplyWhat happened to you Bungie? For three years we played D1 and all the expansions that came after. We stuck by you through so much content drought and such a lack of communication that is was borderline disrespectful on your end. We had so much faith in you that people bought into D2! Some people even paid for the season pass because they love your product and the universe you've created with Destiny. Now, with D2, we have an incredibly watered down version of what we loved. We have even less communication than with D1. I mean, people hate the PVP side of your game. Team shotting is destroying the fun in the crucible. Adventures are amazing! World quests are amazing! Lost sectors could be amazing! Take stuff out of the stupid Eververse and put it behind activities. How is it that most IB, Faction rally, and CoO gear is just lazy reskins, but the Eververse is stocked full of so many unique looking rewards? How does that happen?!?! You have people in the community actually calling for your jobs! How is that ok with you?!? You -blam!-ed up by getting rid of random rolls, you -blam!-ed up the crucible with 4v4, you -blam!-ed up by locking so much gear behind the Eververse. You -blam!-ed up by throttling XP then playing dumb. You -blam!-ed up by fixing said throttling, but doubling the amount of XP needed for a bright engram. You -blam!-ed up by locking people out of content they already paid for. You -blam!-ed up by locking people out of heroic strikes unless they buy the dlc. You -blam!-ed up by not testing three of coins before putting them in the game. Also, who even wanted three of coins back? You -blam!-ed up by bringing back D1 exotics! Stop bringing back D1 exotics. Our vault was destroyed!! You look terrible in all of this and it really doesn't seem to bother you. Take a page out of other companies books and learn about communication with your fan base. Masterworks give us reason to grind, but it's just not enough to put out this dumpster fire you gave us. All I want is for Destiny to be great. I love the franchise and I have a lot more fond memories than bad ones. D2 is beginning to tip the scales though. Please Bungie, you say you listen to feedback, well, show us. People have been complaining about you putting content behind Tess yet with The Dawning, you put almost everything behind Tess and give us 1 Dawning engram per character per week. That doesn't seem like you're paying attention. That seems -blam!-ing tone deaf! Please fix Destiny. It's sinking and you don't seem to care
