Alright so I've been doing my share of grinding and now I've got a few masterworks weapons setup how I want them and...i honestly can not tell a difference/Improvement. 1. Better Devils with Reload Speed - can't tell a difference. 2. Origin Story with Range - Tested the damage drop off and did not find an improvement. 3. Positive Outlook with Magazine - I see an increase of 1 bullet aka 34 bullets vs 33 aka less than 3% increase. 4. Sins of the past with blast radius - I don't see anything different. Any way to prove it does anything? So...is this all as intended? Did Bungie forget to activate these buffs...or is it all for show? Because that's alot of cores to get those guns that way. Anyone else have actual data/statistics that prove these masterworks are actually worth anything? I do love the orbs they produce though. Three of Coins...so they don't work, which we all know, and Bungie is supposed to talk about it today. I'm guessing it will just be an apology statement and they will look into it on 1/9/18 When they go back to work...but seriously, how do they screw this up? It's all in the math. It seems pretty clear that Bungie cut down the % of exotic drops right before they added the 3oC so these little things that cost 31 legendary shards allow us to go back to the rate we were getting drops beforehand...but they didn't calculate the %s correctly so they actually are still less than before, even with a 3oC equipped. Personally I don't care about the engrams themselves bc most hardcore players like me already have all or most of the exotics in the game...and the new engrams Xur sells will easily complete the collection. I just really hate how bad this issue exposes the lack of transparency in this game. Why can't they just say: increases chance of exotic drops by 25%....and then actually calculate this into their loot table CORRECTLY then test it...BEFORE it's release...that would be too much to ask apparently.
