I'm still trying to understand after Bungie working on this game for 10 years why other companies are able to add a decent vault space but it's such a hard thing for this company. If their team can't figure this out after 10 years, it's time for BungieVi$ion to use that last brain cell they have and find devs that have a brain.

  • Nobody seems to really Care to go back to it but roughly a year and a half before destiny two came out places like kotaku and a few others (i think gamespot) had stories come out that something went really wrong and the original destiny 2 was scrapped, luke got put in charge and had under 18 months and had to ship the title. By no account was this 10 years. In fact heck with destiny one it was a similar mess. Most of the taken ling locations and assets were supposed to ship in the original title but got scrapped before release and switched to something else k lot to be revisited at a later date and worked on and eventually completed. (I wish I could remember the guy but the original guy who planned it all may have not even been on the team once it was eventually put out as dlc. (Note: I'm not saying it was "cut" it was left uncompleted and design shifted to something else. It's not like it was ready to go and removed for the sole purpose to be dlc in that specific case)

  • I don't know about them scrapping D2, but it sounds like the same thing that happen to Staten story a year before D1 was released. I'd like to see a link on this because it's to easy to take that as if it was a leak but know real facts. Someone mentioned this already but I feel Bungie wants out of this game like they wanted out of Halo.

  • Joe Staten was a key player in making Bungie something. When he left, Destiny became a shadow of what it was intended. He left to pursue “creative opportunities”. Personally I think this has to do with Activision’s influence on Bungie. Aside from losing such major talent, I think the biggest downfall is Destiny being rushed to release repeatedly. The game consistently proves to be underdeveloped with increasing focus on in game monetary transactions. Ironically this has gutted the potential player base and left a husk of the game this could be.

  • Yeah staten was a talented guy. His first halo book like jumped near the top of the charts week one. I hope there's still some of that left in him because recore seemed to under deliver in sales and I have no idea why crackdown 3 appears to have gone radio silent as of late.

  • I find it interesting that Bungie had real talent when they were with Microsoft. Now, they’re just a laughingstock.

  • No they had real $$ and they had more freedom. Which at the time they thought they didn't. Grass is always greener on the other side. Also there doing the same thing they did to Halo they want Activision to fire them . There over destiny. The community is over them so I'd say Activision connect the dots.

  • It’s a shame. Destiny could have been an epic franchise.

  • Real talent probably stayed there.

  • That's because the real talent left this company that actually cared about creating a game.
