Everyone should have to take a reality course before they should be allowed to vote.
Anyone believing in things that aren't backed up with evidence shouldn't get to decide the future of a country.
You'd be screwed.

I'll take their side, sort of, because I was in their shoes once. I understand their ignorance, and the "I'm smarter than everyone" attitude, because I was that level of idiot a long time ago. Then, I graduated high school, and went off on my own to see if my perception of reality (read: my dumb ass) and high school arrogance would carry me. Nope. Life mauled me over and over, pretty damn hard. I came back down to Earth pretty quick after I realized that I was not always right, and that my opinion doesn't beat established fact. I expect every single person in this forum who thinks their opinion trumps fact (or think that they're always right) will get a reality check after they graduate from high school/mentally mature. Life will definitely kick their ass hard, much like life did to me because of the exact same reason.

I just wanted to draw attention to the fact that it's not nice to be on the receiving end of someone saying you're not worthy of an opinion.

Spewing out idiotic ad hominem arguments on a gaming website to help you deal with your inferiority complex.

I was just trying to highlight that our different standards should not bar us from voting. I've employed the exact same logic you did, except now it excludes you, you find it objectionable. Also, stop talking about ad hominems while committing them.

Do you think it is better for people to vote completely ignorantly? Do you think if people were more informed you wouldn't get as many democratic votes?

Do you think people should vote based on reality or whilst believing in fairy tales?
