HDR patch for PS4 pro status?

Has there been any strides to fix/patch HDR not working for the PS4 pro?

I don’t think Destiny is getting a “Pro HDR” patch, the next best thing would be to enable “Boost Mode” for games that don’t have built in “PS4 Pro HDR” benefits. I know D2 got one recently, but I wish they would release a patch for it, I still Love the original Destiny.
