I would like the see the reasoning just cause I can't figure out why.
At the same time, if it wasn't being used for advantage, why do people care so much? Was it an advantage or wasn't it? People need to make up their minds, cause if it wasn't then who gives a crap that a potentially unintended use was removed, and if it was then of course it was removed.

It was not an advantage. In PvP it performs exactly the same. The difference is you can't use it out of combat anymore, so just jumping around feels annoying and clunky. The nerf just makes no sense - in combat shoulder charge is exactly the same, but now you can't use it out of combat? It doesn't effect pvp balance at all, but is really annoying when playing and jumping around climbing things, etc.

I haven't noticed any clunkiness. Honestly I didn't even notice it was nerfed until I read the notes.

I guess we had the exact opposite experience. haha I loaded up and played the first few missions, and immediately went wtf is this a bug with the update?? Then I got online and saw the nerf in the patch notes. Now I'm just scratching my head in disbelief.

Part of it is probably that I don't just shoulder charge generally unless I have a target, so I probably didn't have a good feel for what it was like before.

fair enough. This whole thing reminds me of D1 blink. RIP poor blink just getting repeatedly nerfed into the ground until basically nobody used it -_-
