Options are either spend your tokens now without a devaluation but with old reward set or option two save your tokens they are devalued but you get access to better rewards from the new loot pools.

Edited by LittleOgre: 11/30/2017 7:49:36 PMAre there new rewards at those older vendors? It's my understanding that I could use the tokens to buy specific armor pieces or the gun of the week. The new rewards would come from the new content.

So two options one you can purchase the missing armor/weapon pieces you're missing directly, the other are masterworks. These apply to all the old weapons from my understanding so while they are still the old guns, they are capable of being more powerful and more customizable than the old loot. Also there are ornaments coming to the old vendors for the armor sets, while these are cosmetic only they still are new rewards in the loot table.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's my understanding that existing guns that you own can become Masterworks. The ornaments are not token purchased and are not destination vendors. According to the blog post only destination vendors are affected by the price change. I guess all this answers my question and I'll be spending my tokens before the weekend is over. I like to collect the guns so it's probably better for me to spend my tokens now on any vendors where I'm still missing weapons.

Yes if you get a masterwork you can dismantle it to get a component that allows you to upgrade a non-masterwork to a masterwork. There's no other known path to making a masterwork besides getting it as a random drop/engram or the dismantle option I just described. Ornaments are not token purchased correct. If you're looking for specific pieces then yeah turning them in before the update is probably best because you have better odds. Though if you wait you have a chance at getting masterworks. So up to you. Hope you get what you're looking for either way.

Which ultimately sounds like a far tradeoff.
