Dear Bungie Thank you so much for try to relive this game, I love destiny and I want to stay with all of you in this incredible journey but right now the game is very empty, is destiny but is not, I miss the old destiny feeling, I miss go to the crucible and try to kill many guardians as I can and wait for the end of the match to get an eyasluna (for example) and check the perks and see that is a very amazing eyasluna, I really can't explain the happines of this kind of moments, and that happines returns when in another crucible match I get another eyasluna whith better perks! OMG I have an amazing eyasluna, this kind of emotions is what a lot of us loved of the old destiny's weapons and armor system, now we can get an Uriel's Gift for the first time an say "yes finally I have an Uriel's Gift" but what happen when i get another Uriel's Gift, the feeling is "meh this is just a bunch of weapons parts and sards" I hope you can understand what is destiny for a lot of us and why is very important to return the random perks for the experience that destiny is, is sad but now we can see more variaty of weapons and customization in games like CoD. The importance of this is what gives us the real customization of our characters, you can have the same weapon and diferent or the same armor but with the perks that you love, in the weapons mods you have the opportunity to give us the customization what we love from Destiny1. Think about it Bungie I know that this can be something very expensive and hard to do but this can revives the game. You can do it guys! This is only one of the problems, consider abot the games 4v4, the time to kill, the speed of the movements and the time that the supers get full think about everything that you changed and don't worked as you expected.

Luke Smith and the obsessive “hobbyist player” talk is really irritating. 6-10 hours a week isn’t really a hobby, I work go to college, play guitar and play Destiny. I’m not on ALL the time and the issues with the game were apparent in the first week. That observation of D2 downfalls in that short of a time isn’t due to overplaying or “hobbyist player” like Luke Smith made it out to be.

There is no saving this piece of shit. The best thing Bungie can do at this point is abandon Destiny 2. Stop working on it completely, give up. Then pour every resource they have in to the sequel, starting...now. Then they have pretty much 3 full years to have a fresh start and make the greatest game possible.... ...and when it flops, we can just laugh at how the creators of the Halo series have fallen so far from grace it’s almost unbelievable

Would it be possible to allow the purchase of just the first DLC instead of the entire season pass?

I keep seeing tokens referenced as rewards and redeemable.. and after the live stream I think you guys would get it...... tokens are no fun. People don't want tokens as rewards. People want guns to drop. Shiny balls to drop. Seriously.. please take it very very seriously. Please, for the love of god, get rid of tokens from this game and reward system.

Deja Vu? D1 expansions 1 and 2 were band aids til taken King was a $30 real update. So is D2 following suit? IMO I think it's starting to feel that way 😢

Listened to the podcast. 3 guys stuttering and stammering half understandable sentences out, before dashing into long winded technical jargon that most laymen outside of game developing will need a google search to comprehend. Oh yeh, and theyre that sjw now, they darent even use the terms 'hardcore' and 'casuals'. To bungie we're 'Hobbyists' or 'tourists' 😂😂😂

I think bungie is broke and they're doing whatever they can to secure dlc purchases before it gets worse.

id like to say the improvements in the blog while welcome were mainly things that were left out from year 3 d1 but are appreciated none the less Static roll issue: now despite liking the masterworks new addition bellow are my thoughts on where your going wrong implementing static rolls its not that they dont work your just doing it to narrowly the issue isn't static rolls or random rolls its how set rolls have been implemented for example in d1 the problem was many players never experienced the full potential of a weapon because they never got a god roll for said archetype or weapon. In d2 the issue is that you get a weapon and if its not optimal in its archetype its trash period. the fix is a balance taken king had it right albeit the weapons from that raid were poor for their archetypes they all had set rolls with 3 or so variations. i.e yes we all ended up choosing doom of chelchis with full auto or smite of merain with firefly but that's because the other rolls were useless if we had 3 viable rolls we wouldnt have gone for 1. what we want is two or 3 viable options for a weapon i.e i might not have the explosive rounds better devils but i got the moving target one or opening shot one id still want the explosive rounds version but each variation would have meaning and a different optimal scenario. At the moment they've got a limited number of perks and seem to like not doing variations so they can release an alternate gun in the same archetype with a alternate perk but this limits the loot pool what if i want to try moving target with better devils base stats or explosive rounds with judgments at the moment that kind of limitation is crippling variation furthermore the weapon foundries are all missing archetypes currently. i.e Suros only make adaptive autos and pulse rifles whereas in d1 they had higher impact autos and also lower impact pulses. This also kills the pool because if i know every Omolon auto is a dominant precision frame why use Suros or Hakke autos. bring back all archetypes across foundries and take into consideration what i said above about variation and set rolls can work the implementation is just way off as is

Love the title 'The state of destiny 2'. Yeah dont we know it!

Big props for you all coming out and basically admitting D2 sucks and realising you've let the fans down. Although you seem to now be on the right path, it still doesn't change you stripped off what made D1 fun, removed good content, changed stuff which didn't need changing and packaged it up as a new game. It's a long road back to make D2 the game we were all promised, listen to your community and make positive changes and don't be scared to bring back things which made D1 so enjoyable. Money talks and Bungie is a business, until making more and more money stops becoming the top priority this vicious cycle will continue.

I cant be bothered to listen to the podcast - the blog post was enough disappointment for me.
