Ok. The people who gave their opinions earlier have helped me to see how awful that would have been in Bungie listened to an idiot like me. TBH I really forgot about the casual population with this one. And as most have pointed out, most exotics in this game suck so it wouldn't be worth the grind in strikes just to get a crap duplicate. Thanks for your time and ignore my post

5 RepliesOne...exotics in Destiny 2 aren't all that exotic. In fact even though I have every drop version of Exotics I often do not wear any. Exotic weapons are bland. Exotic armor... only the ones that really speed up run speed (how that's really all that exotic... bah). Two.... stop posting terrible ideas that will simply help kill the game further. Think about it will you.

Bungie acknowledged that not everyone can afford to spend half a day grinding for rewards, so they catered the game to those that can't, and that is a good thing.. Nothing really wrong with that. Do yourself a favour, okay? Read other threads from others and contribute to them rather than being an attention seeker. Sincerely, on behalf of the entire Destiny community.

2 RepliesI believe that Exotic Gear/Weapons are too easy to obtain (Yes I understand the casual player but that is why Xur exists). My thoughts were that the public events should be more rare & doing heroic events will up your chance of multiple higher loot drops. The reason why they should be rare is that then it you cater to players that are doing a strike & see an event starting & dive into it. Nightfall & heroic strikes should have a higher loot drop & Give us players a purpose to be 305. Light merely does not matter, Look at trials (Light disabled), Iron Banner (Light disabled), Leviathan raid (Normal is 270, Heroic is 289). I think that this is what Destiny 2s identity crisis is & why it is so 50/50 right now. Wow I can do everything (Casual player) But a Casual player is supposed to put in 2-3 hours a week in the game so How are they going to go flawless or do raid? A casual player will have time to farm a couple heroic strikes & nightfall, so that works out & for those who play the game MORE have the chance of finding a rare heroic event, but also the Casual players as well!

I think they should remove random rolls, strike specific loot, crucible modes, armor with perks, all artefacts, sparrow horns, strike play lists, cross transfusion, super's, challenging raids and FUN! Oh wait they all ready did all of the above. I am sure bungie will get on to your stellar idea ASAP.

It would be nice to have that feeling back. This however wouldn't work in D2. I for one am tired of seeing all the D2 bashing, so this is just my opinion; D2 exotics in general are lacklustre when compared to D1. If we got exotics at the same rate as vanilla, and then got these dull versions it would be worse. What I'd like to see is less frequency of exotics drop, BUT I'd like these exotics to feel powerful.

8 RepliesIf there was no RNG with the items you got from weekly milestones, such as being give the ability to select which armor peice you wanted then I would be ok with removing exotics from public events. But with the current state of the RNG of engrams then no. And you can't get max level from farming public events. 304 is the highest an exotic will drop from drop engrams until you hit 305.
