I spent 7 hours playing and all I got were THREE of the same boots. THREE. I have “earned” no other pieces of gear to show for my time whereas I could have shown at least something in Destiny 1. I have received standard crucible gear from it as well. WHY are standard crucible gear pieces in here? WHY?!? My clanmate has turned in over 29 packages and STILL doesnt even have the set. Over 116 matches and this goes to show how UNREWARDING this grind is. It is not fun because there is no tangible feel of earning from the activities.
You earn ‘x’ tokens to trade in for gear.
It takes 20 Tokens per level.
An average player, earning 3.75 tokens on average per match, spends about 15 minutes per match total. That meane the average person is earning ~15 Tokens per hour. That means you have to spend at least 1.25 hours to gain ONE chance at loot. Hypothetically that means a minimum of 5 hours to get a full set if it granted you what you were missing each time.
Remove the token system and back date the rewards so people dont miss out.
Imagine 116 matches later.... Still no full set. What gives Bungie? How are you providing us value for our time spent with you?

Edited by InfinityDrags: 11/23/2017 10:26:45 PMThis whole token system, completely depending on rng, is nothing more than an artificial way of keeping us playing. In D1 we had vendors sell gear for the very marks we earned in activities and we had IB gear drop after matches, making it worth playing for meaningful rewards. Me and a couple of friends have managed to go a full day of IB without seeing even 1 new armor piece. Now people may find that ok, but this shit is not ok to me. They're just shitting on us at this point.
