Iron Banner more like Iron Cancer
out of the 10 games ive played today in Iron Banner, ALL of them were people running around like -blam!- monkeys with midas and Better devils,
what is to make out of this ?
MAPS ARE TOO SMALL
WHY DO I EVEN PLAY ?
THE TOKEN BULLSHIT IS BAD

If you cant beat em join em. I switched to Mida, the number combo because I ran into teams with mida. Fight fire with fire or break your D2 Disc in half and be done with it.

4 RepliesI share your pain with Iran Banner, but what you mentioned aren't the reasons it's so bad - poor matchmaking, obvious network manipulation and lag - someone please explain to me how two players punching each other wind up killing each other - if one of you are dead, how can you still kill someone? Bungie needs dedicated servers for their crucible - in my opinion they also need to change the meta - if players didn't die so quickly, there wouldn't be as many complaints...and also make it harder to cheat - if it takes ten shots to kill, network lag won't give you much advantage...

Last Ib I ran Origin Story and Annual Skate with a fusion for support, performed well even as a strict solo queue check my match history if you want even on losing matches I faied well against the midas, better devils and Uriels gift users. Its all on how you play and tour own skill , weapon wise its the most balanced it has ever been.

I do fine with double smgs and a fusion. Git gud. I hate the tokens and i want 6v6 back

On the first day of iron banner. On the day of the big reveal stream. Crucible can't bring in 500k players. This number is across all platforms and includes D1. I'm no developer but a solution would be. Select Destiny 1 crucible, press ctrl-c. Next delete Destiny 2 crucible and press ctrl-v. Done. You don't even have to pay me.

So - either play as a random and take what you get or join a fireteam so you can coordinate play. Or - best of all, simply don't play. It's not worth the aggravation. I need 4 more packages for my season emblem this week and as soon as those are done I'm done with IB. Yes, that means I only collected 6 packages during the last IB - 2 per guardian - just enough rounds to complete the challenges and the Call to Arms milestone. I haven't even done Crucible much since then because our clan hit the level 6 wall and I don't need the extra luminous engrams. Funny story - I jumped on IB last night as a random waiting for our raid to start - got into a round with other guys playing from the same clan. We won the match and I was high score from both teams. Cha-ching! Still don't like playing Crucible. Bring back Mayhem Clash, SRL, and 6v6!

Dude, agreed, but please don't complain about Better Devil's. The gun is just fine and actually fun and rewarding when you get kills with it. I am actually seeing nothing but Mida firing squads, UG, and Last Hope.

Edited by Roman: 11/22/2017 11:45:15 AMthing is it doesn't matter what type of match it is, either join the "meta" so to speak, or try not to sweat it, get done what you need and do something else I jump into Crucible for a match or two, then go do a few public events, or strikes, then back to Crucible just doing 1 thing for an hour or two gets really boring/exhausting and in terms of Crucible, even depressing, especially since "teams" who can't play in "competitive" playlist go into "quickplay" and ruin it for the rest of players because they are simply "bad" and btw, I understand about Iron Banner, still applies the same, this is not Destiny 1, you can get ALL the tokens you want (I spent over 400 to get a IO helmet) and still not get what you want (I didn't get the helmet either)
