*** Update. So I re-downloaded Destiny 1 and jumped in for 2 rounds of control. It was a blast.
Got ganked the first round. Still having to get used to it again but did ok for 2nd round.
Getting our house ready for family tomorrow but will jump in again shortly.
Graphics not near as good but gameplay is nice and crisp. 8)
First match took a couple of minutes of matchmaking but the next match was quick.
Come on over. Its nice in here!

Destiny 1 was so awesome. I bought each of my boys a PS4 (3 of them) and I even got one for myself and then my wife.
It was so good I bought myself a ps4 pro for Destiny 2.
Its the only thing my wife and I play. Even now - pvp. I cant get my boys to play anymore though.
Even my oldest boy, he played Destiny 1 primarily for 3 years.
Now they dont play at all. My two younger boys hardly played at all.
What is ironic is ypu have all these other games trying to figure out what Bungie did with Destiny 1. Trying to capture some of that magic.
Bungie on the other hand was trying to not be like Destiny 1? The management team that decided all of that shpuld be moved to non-decision making roles. Horrible.
My wife.and I still love the game. Its still all we play, however I think these will make it better (even for us.):
* random rolls on equipment
* strike specific/unique drops
* named.boss/evemt drops
* old light/levelling system
* make light matter evrywhere
* pick your strike and pvp style
* do not nerf anything - buff others
* more damage on weapons
* more damage on abilities
* faster recharges on abilities
* one hit kill stickies.- bring em back
* sunsinger and bladedancer back
It is tough to solo que into pvp. If ttk was faster and we had faster.and.better abilities it could.be tenable to solo que - even against a made team.
Im hopeful season 2 and the expansion will bring dramatic change. I am not excited about.the content im just hopeful for change.
