As nice (and sad) the attempt to get people back into the game with an EXP boost to cosmetic loot boxes, this is the kind of thing that shows just how out of touch the devs are. You're not stupid Bungie, nobody believes that, it'd be nice if you could extend the same courtesy to the players who keep your company afloat. Regardless of this only affecting cosmetic items, this is the level of dishonesty that EA has shown with their cooldown on "crystals earned". Worse yet, you've not made a point to address this because, presumably, you were caught with your fingers in the cookie jar and don't know how to excuse this blatant bullshit.
This isn't any "silent majority" vs. "loud minority" shit, this is straight up dishonest game design for everyone to enjoy.

We could extend the same level of courtesy they've shown us by pledging not to play until some real changes happen, I'm sure they'd like to avoid turning their game into a ghost town like Lawbreakers.

They didn’t say the numbers should of reflected what we were getting. That would mean it wasn’t intentional but they didn’t even allude that it was a bug or glitch. The only thing that is unexpected was the players figuring it out and the journalists picking it up. Also it isn’t just cosmetics. Ghosts are not cosmetic at all. XP and Glimmer boosters add up to more xp and more bright engrams. Which means less Silver being bought. A scam to get more money out of you.

7 RepliesThe lack of response says EVERYTHING. Compare to EA DIce response (a day or two at max) when fans are pissed about something in game. The fact that it takes time to make changes is NOT the problem. Your lack of communication is. Bungie really needs to revisit their model for fan communication. Why do we even have community liaisons if they do not interact with the community. This intellectual property has SO MUCH potential and we LOVE YOUR UNIVERSE. Stop isolating from the community. We can help you fix this sinking ship. Sometimes the fans know what is best for the game. Not always Luke Smith or Jon Weirznewski.

The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. The only way that we will see change is if we take action. Do not buy the DLC, ask for refunds on your season pass, do not buy any silver. This crap wouldn’t be in our games if people did not purchase it. The gaming community is starting to win this battle with the massive disaster that is SWBF2. Do not give these companies your money in hopes that things will get better. Give them your money after they change their exploitative tactics. These things are designed to prey on young kids and people with addictive personalities. Band together and let’s start to enact change.

My guess is you thought this subject would stay in your forums where only 3% of total players visit but now vg247 ,gamingbolt and reddit have articles about xp cooldown you silently implemented so the word is getting out. You on the other hand could turn this whole thing around by admitting your mistake( don't admit you did it to encourage purchasing bright engrams)by dictating how players play your game you are just happy there here to play it. 75 RepliesI can't believe I'm gonna be this guy. Play Warframe and give it a chance. There are 15/16 planets/locations. Factions that matter, raids, over 30 warframes (imagine 30 classes), pets and companions that fight by your side, hundreds and hundreds of weapons, space combat, an open world with fishing, a day night cycle with hidden bosses and so so so much more. All of that with a disgusting amount of polish and every inch of it rewards your hard work. Honestly it's the game that Destiny should strive to me

This has me extraordinarily angry. This is the absolute worst kind of bullcrap a company can pull on its customers. If the turns out to be an intentional thing by Bungie, and it’s looking more and more like that’s the case, this game should be finished. I hate saying that. I’ve been a Destiny loyalist since D1 launched. I’m m so disappointed.

2 Repliesthey make it harder and harder for me to want to play. every time I turn around, cooldowns and ways to limit how I want to play, rewards that simply arn't rewarding so why play.. infact.. why am I playing, I have all but, maybe 10 guns in the entire game. You can't collect every world armour set for 3 characters as there isn't the vault space.. nothing from any endgame activity that is rewarding or better than patrol offerings.. and all we have had is some vague info on what they are looking at changing.. no specifics eor time frame..
