Today, I found a great raid group on LFG. We started a fresh raid, did Gauntlet second try, and got to Baths. We proceeded to do Baths first try, getting me my fifth, and only raid weapon, Ghost Primus. Next up: Dogs. Now, since this was a fireteam composed purely from LFG, none of us were confident that we'd get challenge done. We decide not to do challenge. On about the fifth attempt, we got a x24 stack, got spotted, and did a damage phase. We got another x24 stack and managed to kill all of the dogs. We somehow completed challenge, awarding me a chestplate, which I already had three of, and a pretty sweet emblem. We finally move on to Calus. After our first failed attempt, someone dc'd somehow causing Calus to not spawn. The remaining 5 of us, before going to orbit, attempted using the elevator to no avail. After successfully getting everyone back in, we resumed the fight. Team Suck was doing absolutely phenomenal, while Team Throne Room (which I was on) caused several wipes due to the same person dying over and over again. We managed to take down all of Calus' health, and melee or Super his light shield down, as we were all completely out of ammo. My entire team gets either Sins of the Past or It Stared Back except for me, getting my fifth chesplate. We fly to the Tower and turn in our tokens giving me yet another chestplate and my second helmet. At the end of the day, I added four of the five teammates, got a blue emblem, and no new raid gear. I now have one raid weapon and two raid pieces of armor. Thank you Bungie, for your amazing loot system. EDIT: The Friendgame prevails.
