*facepalm* Obviously poster you didn't read or pay attention to what was actually going on. EA was exhibiting practices of pay-to-win on Star Wars Battlefront 2, and there was a huge uproar by the community of the ridiculous play times it took for players to unlock heroes, and hero star cards through loot crates in the game. Destiny is not a pay-to-win game. The microtransactions in Destiny are purely cosmetic for shaders, ships, sparrows, and flashy armor pieces which you then have to infuse to make useful. I'm very okay with this, and I even understand it. It is a money maker for Bungie, and if players wanna buy a ship or a few shaders from eververse I quite honestly could not give less of a damn. Destiny's microtransactions are no different than Overwatch. And this is okay. If Bungie/Activision ever try to implement pay-to-win in Destiny, this community would absolutely lose its sh*t. I would hope that video game companies were watching what happened with the Star Wars game and took notes of what not to do.

  • Fireteam Medallions and Weapon/Armor Mod Boosts are also in the exclusive drop-table for Eververse it's not much, but it still technically P2W, Eververse has not been exclusively cosmetic in D2; they take baby steps closer and closer every time

No, it isn't. Especially since you can get 3-9 quick and easy bright engrams a week, and as many as you are willing to grind for for free. The medallions don't really boost anything besides xp in an actually beneficial manner, and even then, it's not a huge boost. As far as mods..... Are you kidding me? You mean the things you can go buy from banshee by the bucketload? Nothing you can get from eververse actually gives you something you can't get otherwise from play or that gives you a tactical advantage over/vs other players. Pay to win literally means if you put the money in you get a clear and real advantage. Show me a gun or armor piece eververse sells that makes you deadlier than anyone else.
