If it does not affect the actual game then no real point. Some games let you play or pay if you don't have that kind of time or are too lazy to play for it. It normally is not much and pay to wins are not a very sturdy model. Pay to wins like STO is when you want T6 stuff after going through T1-5 and having to pay allot of money if you want to be #1. I never did but often they offered really good deals and DDO had things you could only purchase in game but allot of it you could purchase or get a pass. Every game has its tricks and Destiny is not a pay to win kinda game. What you are after is something that cannot happen due to changes that happened inside the company and thus resulting in Destiny being the way it is. No one says you had to buy the extras. I did not for STO as even 3 T6 battleships would run you about $100.00 or more depending on what you want to purchase. DDO was kinda a blend of paying for stuff now or you can pay for a subscription giving you full access instead of purchasing it piecemeal.

  • even besides the fact, just looking at the way they do them is another thing lots of youtube videos show people spending 50 to 100$ on a cosmetic set, and not even getting it, let alone any other things in there either the severity of whether or not it is P2W regardless

It is against the law for Bungie to swindle people even for things like shaders, or the other Micro Transactions Ect.. However depending on if it is even for sale as that sounds like individuals profiting. I remember one guy i knew who would get accounts up to 60 then sell them off In HALO 3. It depends on many factors as you get what you paid for and if it is a random system of what you will get then you might as well go to vegas. Any game you play if it has a random loot system like WOW you don't need to worry as you will be given gear if you run the instance several times. Thus cosmetic applications and spending $100.00 to get them from players instead of Bungie is not really Bungies fault as it is buyer beware and last i checked Bungie does not allow that kind of thing just like Blizzard does not support people selling accounts as they can ban your Ip along with all your accounts. The thing is if you are too lazy to work a system to earn something due to the game mechanics like in Destiny where the loot system is not all that rewarding the last time i tried it. Not sure what it is like today but i have a sense about it and Loot drops are earned if you want to put in the time. Unless it is sanctioned by Bungie as apart of a Microtransaction or packaged deal then they should take that up with Bungie or Play Station or Microsoft to see what can be done. I dunno Bungie can get away with certain things and they have to follow the law so read carefully. But as far as i know Bungies products have certain requirements, In Halo. Microsoft/Bungie i could say that 100% you would be getting something well worth the price. These days in Destiny you get 30% for the same price as a good product. Passing the cost to the consumer. It is a buyers market when it comes to games and it is why i have not purchased nor will i ever buy get or the like with Destiny as too many things that are shady. I play DBZ XV Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning Ect.. I would Rather Play Halo 4 as the Greatness left when Bungie got rid of the Halo team that designed Destiny. Had the Halo team been around things would not be as they are. Many reasons why Destiny is the way it is as they had to change the story and other elements as Joseph Staten left Bungie and Activision was going to carve up what would have been streets of gold for stupidity of greed. Now you have things as they are as Bungie/Acitivision have nothing but to rehash the same thing and force people into buying options for the same content they purchased.
