Bump; I've been having a lot of fun with this game over the last few days, but when I wanted to find a clan or group to do the nightfall milestone, I was completely taken aback with how awful the social aspect of Destiny is. Not only is the idea that finding a clan and/or group is to be done outside the game, through a mobile app, absolutely moronic, but those systems aren't even good (and even if they were, they would still be dumb). Overall I was prepared to spend some time on this game, and even recommend it to friends, but I'll hold off on that until something changes with the social aspect.
