I've always wondered - maybe the reason Americans don't like Canada is because they know it's objectively better on average.

    I have just about the same respect I have for Canada as I do France. Of course I don't speak for every American, but I like to think I have a middle ground on the North and South because I was born in West Virginia. If you have been here for 5 seconds you would know that it feels like the intensity after the Civil War never ended. I have a lot of respect for most of America's allies. Most others probably do too. (Not trying to start an argument. Just wanted to explain myself.) Except for brits. Some are respectful. Mostly however, you don't even have to breathe in air around them for them to call you "-blam!-".
