Tevis was just some random nightstalker who got killed. He’s not important at all.

  • Gotta disagree sadly, he was the beginning hunter who introduced our guardian to the void light, plus the exotic helm which again is an ode to him. Not having him voice his experience as a Nightstalker was a missed opportunity on Bungie's part, and could've given year one players a more fleshed out story of the person we took the bow from originally.

  • He didn’t really have a choice introducing us to the void. You know what with him being very dead. And us just sorta picking it off his corpse. Also what helmet?

  • The Graviton Forfeit, it quotes Tevis, and is supposed to make another appearance in D2. Again, I understand your reasoning, but Tevis's story and sacrifice inspired the Nightstalker questline in D1, to erase him just to throw in a no name doesn't make any sense. Even you have to see that a good chunk of the lore has been cut. Which is fine, but I want to know from Bungie's mouth if they care about the story as much as the lore community does, if not let us know and we'll stop caring, simple as that.
