Third party software

I'm currently using two websites which are third party software. First one being DIM (destiny item manager) which can be used to move gear around without visitng your vault or opening your menu. The second one is destiny sets which is used to track what gear you have collected before as a sort of check list to keep track of them. I was wondering if using these sites would be against terms of service, with exploits such as using my starter power 100 gear which you get at the starter mission to boost your early power rank. TL:DR, Are third party websites against ToS?

  • Nope - those 3rd party applications use the Bungie.net API to show you D2 info and cause changes to happen in game It isn't considered against the ToS. The only thing you need to be aware of is that you use them at your own risk - Bungie is not responsible for them. Generally, they can't do anything bad (i.e., deleting items isn't possible outside the game), though. Also, if you ever decide that you don't want to use a particular app anymore, be sure to go to your settings page and de-authorize it so it cannot access your account anymore.
