"Real World Trading"
a term when a game (formerly F2P/free to play or Vanilla/buy once and done) decides to make aspects of their game only accessible by using real currency
or...more popular "microtransactions"
depends, anything with a "season pass" is not considered RWT
games that have "buy this costume for 1$ or an entire pack for 3$" or any "loot crate" game (very common with Activision and Electronic Arts)
Eververse Engrams are Destiny's version of a "loot crate"
To be honest with you, sometimes I like being into a game that allows me to sink money in it to advance faster than just playing.
Fortnite “Save The World!” being a good example.
i think the biggest reason people are angry is because Destiny *DID NOT* start out with RWT, they added it in later and was never a cohesive addition to the game
I agree, overall I enjoyed Destiny 2 for a while but I’ve not been on it since Iron Banner week.
It’s odd, in Destiny 1 I enjoyed the end game but not getting there.
In Destiny 2 I enjoyed getting there but not the end game.
