My destiny 2 crashes on pc I played the beta fine not a single crash even during leveling the game wasnt too bad however after hitting 20 I seem to crash every 10 - 30 minutes. when the game crashes the screen will freeze sound will continue to play for around another 5 seconds before cutting out after that about 20 seconds a windows pops up and says destiny 2 has stopped working and is looking for a resolution after a bout 5 seconds it then states it can not find a resolution to the problem and my only option is to click close program. My game is more prone to crashing will in crucible or strikes/nightfall. Below is my pc hardware specs: Motherboard: G1.Sniper B5 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670 CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz PSU: In Win Glacier 900W GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Xtreme gaming edition RAM: 2x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 1600MHz DDR3 Ram SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD (MZ-75E500) I have already tried the following trouble shooting steps (not in order): cleared destiny "cache" from app data tried installing destiny on a hdd instead of my ssd tried having graphics/video settings on the lowest possible settings. made sure the program was being run in administrator mode. removed second monitor so only had one going. made sure wasnt having the alt+tab memory leek issue (not alt+tabbing) checked all performance stats of hardware to make sure nothing was spiking at time of crash e.g cpu at 100% usage. updated drivers for gpu made sure windows was upto date checked network running at 65mbps down by 34mbps up with 19 ping made sure no other programs or unnecessary processes were running during the game play to interfere. uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times checked event log on windows event viewer and got the following Exception code: 0xc0000005 Ran a SFC scan (no problems detected) Ran a virus scan (no viruses detected) Checked to make gpu or cpu are not over heating. Im sure I have done more but cant remember it all this has been on going since launch and have had no luck finding a remedy. please help.
