Hello,
Thank you for your report. We are actively issues where players are experiencing crashes when launching Destiny 2.

Thank you for the response. Guys, chill out and quit being toxic. It's a day one issue and it has to do with specific hardware. It is an extremely huge undertaking to make a game like this work across so many different systems. Imagine trying to make an engine work in every make and model of vehicle.

People have every right to complain when the product they paid good money for is broken out of the box.
-
They have postponed the launch of the PC version just so that there would not be such problems ... And now this is our problem?
-
@Hallfrom Actually, no, i guess they pulled of the delay stunt so people would actually buy the game in the console AND in PC; but hey seems they can actually take that a step further with this new trick... go figure.
-
Oh look, another one throwing around the word toxic.
-
You need to stop giving them outs. This is literally their job and what they get paid to do. They had an extra month and a half after the console release to work out problems. They take people's money with no expressed plans on reparations due to time lost. If this shit happened during the beta, no big deal, that's what the beta is for, but, this is supposed to be the "final" product. Just because you're okay with mediocrity in these game devs, doesn't mean everyone else is toxic for voicing complaints after spending their money.
-
I wish I could upvote this or something. This is exactly how people should feel, and it isn't "toxic". This is a reasonable expectation.
-
Absolutely correct! If I were given a month and a half to rebuild a gearbox and motor where I work, and then didn't finish it on time, and then limited the usability to only 2 speeds out of the five, I would get fired. That would completely stop the manufacturing line and end throughput, which costs money for every minute the machine can't run at full capacity. There is every expectation that when I pay for something, it should work. That definitely isn't toxic, and I'm glad I'm not the only one to feel that way.
-
Specific hardware that worked perfectly during the beta. I think that's what everyone is so annoyed about.
-
But beta works great for me and now I cant play the full game... so wtf I dont think this is normal.
-
Please fix this
-
I feel like you all (support team) were off popping champagne for the "Great PC Launch Day" party....then came back to the forums a little tipsy and a bit confused.
-
Thank you!
-

Edited by RVIVR: 10/24/2017 6:52:06 PM"We're completely surprised that the (full)game doesn't work on Phenom CPU's"
-
Burst my belly with laughter imagining that one scene
-
Did they actually say that
-
Staying positive that you guys will get this up and running just as smooth as beta. Thanks!
-
Don't stay positive, hold them accountable. They charge people ridiculous amounts of money for these broken -blam!-ing promises. This has become a disease in almost every publisher.
-
Can we have a time ? maybe when we actually get our moneys worth? rather then a 45 pound menu screen
-
Scan and Repair didn't fix the issue.
-
to be clear the game "launches" fine. we are crashing after the cutscene that plays after the char select
-
Please try to hotfix!
