Meh.
That’s the title of his latest D2 video.
Mr. Fruit, the Destiny youtuber known for being positive was finally broken by D2. He goes on to say that he was trying to do a video on the Origin Story auto rifle but fell into how bored he is with D2 already and is simply waiting for the DLC to judge if D2 is even worth it.
Never would I think Fruit would descend into this D2 is bad funk.
So yeah I guess you can throw “we broke Mr. Fruit” under your belt now too Bungie. When does the damage control start?

Rip that beautiful bowl of fruits I remember him since 50,000 and I’m sad.
-
Nobody is getting the point of what he’s saying. He’s not saying this because Fruit is a youtuber and all that. Hes trying to say that its disheartening that someone so dedicated to Destiny (pretty much made a living out of it) is just done with the game they had so much hope for

Edited by Romans43: 10/26/2017 11:08:51 PMA few days later, he’s invigorated again on PC

It's ok now child. Fruit plays on PC now and is happy. Praise thin fine Fruit Booty!

Edited by kellygreen45: 10/24/2017 1:52:47 PMYou guys really need to stop idolizing these guys and remember what they are in reality. THEY ARE PEOPLE WHO PLAY THESE GAMES AS A JOB...AND EARN THEIR LIVING PLAYNG IT. What they want-and-need from this game has little-to-nothing in common with what the typical player wants and needs. Mr. Fruit isn't "bored" with the game. He's struggling with the changes that have been made with the game. His whole channel is based on taking off-meta weapons into the Crucible and dominating play with it, while playing the whole things for laughs. The problem for him....and a lot of these other PVP content creators....is that Bungie has changed the game in ways that make it MUCH more of a team-oriented game. So it is MUCH harder to go into the Crucible and come out with video that shows the indidivual player dominating play. (Kudos to the small-channel YTer I was watching this weekend who was willing to be open and honest about this.) So the problem is that the guys who made their living with the "low hanging fruit": Montages, Kill streak videos, and dominating-jokesters (like Mr. Fruit and Mtashed) are struggling. Its taking a LOT more work to get (and edit) the video they need.....and that's even assuming they have the skills to get what they need in the current game climate. The guys who put more thought into what they do, and offer more added value (playing tips, weapon reviews, strategy guides, etc....) are doing fine, and are content with the changes.

Deej just confirmed all D1 features are returning in a recent interview Source:
https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ
Daaaaamn. Even Mr. Fruit is feeling it? He's a ray of sunshine with his reviews! This is kind of heartbreaking.
-
Anybody being truly honest with themselves cannot like the direction this game is heading.
-
Apparently all he needed was to get on PC. Time will tell.
-
I love all the people who are bashing fruit without even knowing what kind of creator he is. Why the hell does this community have a burning hatred for content creators anyways? It's thanks to them that most of know how to raid, either directly or through the grapevine. It's thanks to them and their viewership that stuff like outbreak prime was solved. This community took the 'bad apple ruins the bunch' metaphor to a while new level

I wonder how Bungie meetings go in the morning? 🤔 "So no one look at the forums. Let's just make some more exotic sparrows so they'll throw their money at the screen."
-
Anybody else playin fortnite till the dlc comes out 🤔
-
He uploaded a new destiny video Watch it
-
Why do you care if he gets tired with Destiny? He's just another player. Dude have some self respect. Why are you elevating a commoner like this guy above yourself. You sound so pathetic.

"There's no content drought in D2. It's an incentive drought. There's really no reward for doing stuff in D2." Best Destiny 2 Reddit post...
-
All of you people seem to be missing the point. OP isn't telling you how to feel because of what some YouTuber feels. The point is that if even someone like Mr.Fruit has to put down the controller and just give up, things are much worse than Bungie even realises. "But but muh independent think! No be sheep!" It's just a fact that big Streamers and YouTubers feelings and words carry more weight than anyone on these forums.

THIS GAME SUCKS FIRE LUKE SMITH

Bungie is off today spending the money they made off the pc gamers but ive seen enough of their replies to cover this one for them. Ahem... Thanks for the suggestion about <break fruits> I might let the designers know this is something you would like to see in the future. -FearF, out.
-
I know people are gonna go "its youtubers/streamers who caresss" But when Mr.Fruit, Gothalion and Broman are not in d2, thats a bad sign
-
If he isn't getting enough content to make videos for Destiny 2, why not do it for other games? or movies or other stuff?
-
He sounded so frustrated. I think we all are. This game is such a huge let down. I think the game’s dead, bob.

I have no sympathy for "power users" who burned through the story ASAP, attempted world first raid, spend all weekend on Trials, and consume hours and hours of their day playing so they can have footage for a YouTube video.

So someone peeled his banana?
