5 exotic engrams = 5 of the same exotic
Yesterday and today I received a total of 5 exotic engrams but yet again the same thing over and over again. Sort it out will you. This is beyond a joke.

I sit there and preview the engrams over and over until I see a preview with the best chance to give me what I don't already have. What do I get......the same *#&%@%&*%#@^**%$@@$&*^%@!$^&*&%#@%&*&$@^*(^$#@&^$$#*&^#!# thing over and over again.

Yup, still getting the Crest of Alpha Lupi, Hallowfire heart and Lion Rampant.....again and again. Is a helm to much to ask?

Duplicates are a major issue in this version of Destiny. Their version RNG (Repetitve Number Generator system instead of Random Number Generator that would be much more fair). Repetitive Number Generator system that they implemented is their attempt to lengthen the hunt in this game. It sucks when it kicks in and it kicks in quite heavily.

Edit: Honestly, you should always be presented with two choices of items. A lot of other games works this way. But oh no! The Fun Police said no! And what is (still) wrong with trading?! They said it was because you needed to create YOUR legend. Bullshit. They only want to be sure they got you by the balls praying to RNGesus you'll finally get that -blam!-ing helmet that's been eluding you for a month. Way more efficient to artificially keep you playing than having a trade system in place!

I must hail the Young Ahamkara's Spine when I don't have Nighthawk, Orpheus Rig, or Stomp-EE5 cause I heard Tripmines are the best grenades ever according to RNG. Got it from Cayde for flashpoint, and decrypted one right after.

But but, Bungie saw that this game was way too complicated for you guys and everyone that wanted a handout got what they wanted, untill they found out that most of the rewards in this game have no more value then glimmer.

1 ReplyWhile an exotic engram is still in your inventory, hover the cursor over it and select "inspect". There will be 6 or 8 options, they will update over time....one changes every 3-ish minutes.

4 RepliesIt's all RNG you should expect something like that will happen so quit whinning about getting the same exotics even all D1 experienced players would know that RNG will screw you over.

Same here. I even preview the engrams and what do I get? The same thing. Everything in the preview (minus 1 or 2 items) can be something I don't have and I'll get the one thing I do have.
