I have been someone who has defended this game to the ends of the earth. Since dropping prestige mode raid, that is now an impossible task. There's truly no excuse to release prestige mode with absolutely no reason to run prestige mode. No weapons, reskinned armor, and ornamental rewards....thats it. While the mechanical changes within the raid were fantastic, specifically multiple gauntlet runners, and teleporting those who kill councilors into the void...those are genius. But you missed the mark on driving people to play those mechanics. Right now, there's no reason to do the prestige raid other than to say you did it. You know how many times thats makes people want to do it? Once, and then back to the normal raid where you get the same drops for less work. If you haven't noticed by people farming public events vs playing strikes for similar rewards, we're not going to do things that are harder for the sake of doing them with no added benefit. I will continue to play the game, I enjoy it and theres things left for me to do. But right now, you guys have missed the mark with your first prestige raid, and next time around you have to do better or you'll lose your audience. December is on its way, make things better.
