1 ReplyWhat are you even boycotting? Legitimately asking, because I guarantee you all the people who "agree" with you have different reasons. Sugar-Coated: Offering constructive criticism (the antithesis of your post) is best way to influence the direction of the game. No-Room-For-Cream: There is no reason for them to care about your post or the drop off in numbers. People always move on to other games, some faster than others. People don't pay every hour they're on, they pay when DLCs and Full Games come out. People that only play the first few weeks after a release ultimately consume fewer resources, and the player cap on most activities virtually guarantees that Destiny will look the same with 1,000,000 players as it would with 1,000. Halo PC Custom Edition still has a population higher than that. This game will die when they turn off the servers.

Boycotting is simple. It's the target you want that needs to be accurate. Bungie is but only a small ingredient in this debacle. Activision is the real target. With less user log-in and diminished population, investors will be looking at board members to be voted out due to lack of leadership. Activision is a public traded company. Anyone who holds a share is entitled to vote if a proxy is determined necessary to readjust the loss of profit and ported guidance. Furthermore, as financial quarter 4 closes out. Investors will be interested in consumer data and end of the year profit margins. If global population are reported low because of retention and sales figure missed the forecast. Investors will sell out their shares and move on to bigger and better things. This will put dent in Activison's market capital. Shitx roll down hill from there. Bungie included. All it takes is not playing any Activison published game.

1 ReplyHA, I boycott this game 5 days a week. I get on to Raid and Nightfall on Tuesday with my friends and Friday for Xur. I doubt Bungie even notices I'm gone. I already have everything I want till Season 2.

Then we'll get that successful boycott. I'm sure they feel the same. I can't really speak for Goth, but he definitely shows it sometimes.

Boycott? What for? Players are leaving by the second. I stopped playing this travesty of a sequel more than 2 weeks ago and have less than zero desire to return. And before fanboys come running I've played D1 on a daily and weekly basis for the whole 3 years.

Last two weeks i played this mess maybe 2-3 hours.There is no need for organised boycot.Bungo organised it way better.Sad , because i Loved D1 and I went back to farm PS4 stuff they give us Xbone peasants lately :)

The higer ups at Bungie knew exactly what they were getting themselves into when they signed a contact with Activision. D2 vanilla 3 years later is far worse then D1 vanilla. This D2 has no incentive and only gives gamers an illusion that there is something to be had. Only to find out that gamers bought a $60 expansion that is a lot worse then Ttk. [b] "This buy now and we will fix later" needs to stop...[/b] No one asked Bungie to change this entire game and that alone is why this game is lacking in so many ways that it's not funny anymore. I bought Destiny in 2014 because who the company use to be and the work they put into making Halo. Yes, y1 had a rough start,but it also had a real incentive that kept gamers interest in the game. After y1 nerf and capping it at 170 is when this game stared it's downfall and hasn't stopped since. I'm wondering when Bungie and Activision are going to wake the hell up. Hard core gamers are the only reason this game is a live today. Without them, this game would of died a long time ago. It's fine that this company is making a profit, but one would expect them to use some of that and actually put it into the game.

Play or don't play doesn't matter. They already got your money. The only boycott that will matter is if you don't buy the expansions. I don't get why people think that if you don't log in for a day, anyone will care.

8 RepliesIt’s sad to see a group of people put something so amazing out, that is filled with hard work and dedication, that you can visibly tell that they genuinely put time and heart into... only to be berated by a group of people who believe they are correct no matter anything else. Please take some time to appreciate just what it is that Bungie made for you, around every corner there is attention to detail and fixes to what you people disliked about the first title. You made this game less enjoyable for me with these changes. But a majority of the community approves... so please don’t ruin it for them.
