The hunter is the slowest class
I just want to know, why is the arcstrider super slower than the striker titan super? The striker titan runs much quicker than the arcstrider when supered. Even with stompees equipped, the titan super runs faster than the hunter. I feel like the arcstrider needs a speed buff since, ya know, hunters are supposed to be the SPEED class. The titan super and warlock storm caller are better pvp supers anyways, why should they be faster than the hunter? I guess bungie just hates hunters

1 ReplyBecause the arcstrider has the ability to one shot any super if it finishes its arc blast combo so that plus it being the fastest roaming super would be overpowered. If you don’t believe me try it. The arc blast kills any super it hits in one shot no matter if they have full health. This is why they aren’t the fastest and have the shortest super time. (unless you use the chest piece) It would be overpowered making it only weak against gg headshots, nova bombs, or sneaky titans that get close enough for that first initial slam (and sometimes that requires a follow up), or lastly airborne dawn blades. It would be extremely unbalanced.

3 Repliesbut-but-but then the crucible will be unbalanced and waaaaah, hunters shouldn't be the fastest class in the game (says the warlock who heavily relies on recovery) yeah hunters are too fast already we should nerf them to be slower (says the titan who has 0 mobility but 10-12 resilience) and this, my friend, is why we can't have nice things.

But speed isn't agility and when you add all the components together the fastest playing subclass is still a Hunter. But movement doesn't matter if you think in one dimension. Running straight ahead with any super is a good way to get yourself killed. It's not the speed that you get from point A to point B but how you get there. Players running Arcstrider need to start thinking like a damn Arcstrider and less like a Striker. Dodge, jump, slide, slash, anything to create different angles and confuse your opponent. Leave the running straight ahead business to a Striker.

Don't you dare! The Arcstrider class is boss! Let the Titan have a bit of speed, I'll take the LONGEVITY of the Arcstrider super over running fast.

Arcstrider can spam dodge to move around, it's really good. You shouldn't be running.
