Strikes and Raids- A note to the Dev team

So currently the raid is mostly about mechanics, and only finished by a small % still. The strikes are dull. Let's examine closer. STRIKES All strikes now currently follow the same pattern with different variations at the Boss Fight. Start with a DPS phase, then boss is immune and adds spawn, then deal with adds, then boss can be damaged again. Rinse and repeat. Pyramidion, he hides in a shield Braciss, jumps on a tower and hides in a shield Giant Shrieker, closes, and hides in a shield Exodus Down, vanishes and reappears Etc. RAID Still only completed by a small percentage because it's so unforgiving that it's difficult to train and impossible to carry new players thru the raid. It introduces so many mechanics that are totally foreign to any other part of the game. The closest is picking up power orbs to slam into goals such as the Braciss Strike. How to fix this? To begin, let's introduce strikes 1 month after the raid releases, that breaks down different raid encounters. Make a strike that has a part similar to running gauntlet. Another strike that has you standing on plates and defending against adds to remove the boss shield, similar to baths. Maybe another strike that has a stealth feature to gain a buff, similar to dogs. Help players learn these ideas in match made activities, simplified to a 3 man team. Why not go further? I say introduce strikes that bring back parts of D1 raids. Let's say there are rumors coming from the vault of Glass that the vex are reawakening. Then a strike that starts with opening the vault like D1, then add a bit more in between, and a simplified encounter with the first boss. Eliminate the Oracle's, or reduce the quantity, make them debuff instead of wiping the team. Still keep the relic and let players feel what it was like to raid, but in a smaller scale, with matchmaking. You could have a bridge/deathsinger strike similar to Crota, etc.
