Modded Controllers

Im planning to buy a new Controller and i have found a webside where you can buy Controllers with paddels on the back and Triggers which make you shoot faster because the Triggers were shorter. Is this agains the rules or not? I dont want to break any rules of this game so i ask before buying this Controller.

Microsoft officially licensed controllers are fine. If the controllers in questions are officially licensed by Microsoft, you're fine. If the controllers are altered or modified beyond their officially licensed state, then it's against the rules as modified equipment. The Elite Controller, for example, has paddles and trigger stops, but it's also an official controller. Controllers that are licensed 'knock-offs' of that controller are also acceptable because they're officially licensed. If someone takes one of those controllers and adds extra paddles or buttons without a direct OK from Microsoft, though, then it's no longer an officially licensed controller but is instead a modified controller, and modded controllers are against the rules. Please keep in mind that what might be okay for other games or tournaments doesn't mean it's allowed in Destiny or Destiny 2.
